SUN PROTECTION
With Soway® hats and caps,
get three times the sun protection!
Technology that makes all the difference
Hats protect you from the sun,
but not all of them offer the same level of protection.
Just as not all sun creams have the same sun protection factor, a Soway® hat protects you three times more effectively than a standard hat.
UV PROTECTION
UPF 50+ certified
Soway hats offer very high sun protection, UPF 50+ (cotton has an average UPF of 15).
Certified to the Australian sun protection standard (the strictest).
INFRARED PROTECTION
Stay cool in the sun
When the sun’s infrared rays hit our skin, we feel heat.
Soway hats repel infrared rays, so they don’t heat up in the sun (up to 10°C cooler under a Soway hat).
FEATHERLIGHT
Less than 100 g
Weighing less than 100 g, Soway hats are the only featherlight hats that offer both very high sun protection and keep you cool in the sun.
What’s more, they roll up into their pouch (included with purchase)!

Your dermatologist will certainly advise you to protect yourself from the sun!
UV Protection
Unmatched comfort, controlled heat!
Thanks to its technology, wearing a Soway UV-protective hat will effectively shield you from UV rays while ensuring unmatched comfort. Lightweight, breathable, and infrared-blocking, your hat won’t get hot in the sun, so you’ll be able to keep it on longer.
We know that hats protect from the sun, but not all hats protect in the same way—just like sunscreens, which don’t all have the same SPF. A Soway® hat protects you three times better than a traditional hat.
Limited sun capital
The need for protection
While sun capital is not renewable, it can be maintained and preserved through sun protection. It depletes more quickly at certain stages of our lives, particularly during childhood.
Protecting children
Preserving sun capital from childhood onward—especially by protecting the most commonly exposed areas, such as the face and neck—is essential.
Sun capital can not only be maintained, but it can also be enhanced through appropriate sun protection starting in childhood. Numerous studies have shown that the skin capitalizes on the sun protection received during childhood.
Regular application of appropriate sun protection during childhood and adolescence can reduce the risk of skin cancer in adulthood by nearly 60%.
Of course, wearing a hat does not replace the need for sunscreen, sunglasses, and a T-shirt!
